We left Elk Grove on Friday morning with nine cars and headed
for San Simeon. We stopped for lunch and picked up two
more cars, then on to San Simeon. We stayed at the San
Simeon Lodge Friday night, where we had dinner, drinks and
Karaoke. Melvin even sang with a Biker Club!
Saturday we headed out for a day trip to Solvang where we toured
the town and all the shops. Pizza and beer for lunch and ice
cream for a snack. Weather was gorgeous; we stopped on the
way back to San Simeon for a “Corvette Photo Shoot”.
Saturday night had us back at San Simeon for dinner, drinks, and
more Karaoke fun with an “Elvis” impersonator. We headed
